Ganges, the lifeline of India, is not just a river but the cradle of Indian culture. In Jawaharlal Nehru’s words, “The Ganges is one of the major rivers in India, loved by her people , around which are intertwined her ancient memories, her hopes and fears, her songs of triumph, her victories and her defeats. She has been a symbol of India’s age old culture and civilization, ever-changing, ever-flowing and yet ever the same!’
Re-invoking the sacred thought, the school looks towards combining education and life as inseparable entities. In every student of Ganges Valley School, there would be a convergence of modernity and traditional values; competitive spirit and compassion; pride in our heritage and respect for other cultures.
